According to Mike Garafolo, The Eagles have given Nick Foles a reward for bringing the first Super Bowl to the City of Philadelphia.
The Eagles and QB Nick Foles reached agreement on a revised contract for the 2018 season today, sources say. The deal includes a mutual option for the 2019 season, so Foles still has the chance to hit free agency next spring. Team wanted to reward the Super Bowl MVP.

The Contract gives Foles a two million dollar signing bonus plus several million dollars in incentives if he starts in place of Carson Wentz. The most intriguing part of the deal includes a option for Foles to play for the Eagles in the 2019 season. Nick Foles has spoken recently about wanting to become a starter once again, but he now has an option for 2019.
I still expect Foles to be a free agent in 2019, but that is now next years worry.
