The NFL trade deadline is coming quickly and it is up to Howie Roseman to try and find a player or two that will hopefully fix the Eagles struggles in 2018. The Dallas Cowboys already made a move that improves their mediocre roster with the acquisition of Amari Cooper. The Cowboys are getting hate for giving up a first-round pick for a receiver that has been a major disappointment is last two plus seasons. The fact is however, the Eagles were interested in Amari.

Now that Amari in unavailable it’s onto the next possibility and I think that should start with DeVante Parker from the Miami Dolphins. Howie Roseman made the deal for Jay Ajayi from the Dolphins last year, so this wouldn’t be a new business partner. DeVante Parker has been in the dog house with head coach, Adam Gase and he’s the perfect example for a change of sensory type of guy. He’s heading into a contract year so I feel you’d get his best for at least the eight games he’d suit up for the Birds. Taking away this season, in Parker’s last 28 games he has 113 receptions, for 1,414 yards and 5 touchdowns (50.5 yards a game). That’s more yards than Amari Cooper has in his last 28 games for what it is worth. The report is the Dolphins are asking for a second round pick in return for DeVante. I think are blown out of proportion. With Parker being a free agent at the end of the year a deal that would include a fourth round pick should be able to land you Parker.
Pairing Parker with Alshon on the outside, and having Nelson Agholor in the slot would be a major upgrade from from having Jordan Matthews on the outside.
